As you will be aware, Armagh Banbridge and Craigavon Community Planning Partnership (with council acting as lead partner) are developing Place Plans for Craigavon, Lurgan & Portadown and we need your input.
These towns are uniquely connected by place, yet distinctive in character. Progressing these Place Plans in tandem allows us to take a holistic view of the entire area whilst understanding the unique challenges and opportunities facing each of the towns. We estimate that the Place Planning process will take around two years to complete and be shaped and guided by local people and key stakeholders. Therefore, we would be delighted if you would contribute to the Place Plan process by providing your knowledge, insights, and guidance.
- Council have appointed ‘CARLIN Planning’ to support this Place Plan process and lead on the engagement and discovery activities.

- As you will see from the graphic below, several events have been organised including heritage walks and talks in Lurgan and Portadown, as well as an ‘Engage & Explore’ event in Marlborough House which will feature an engagement session alongside a tour of the building, registration is required for anyone who wishes to attend these events.
