We have now completed our first week of the CrowdFunder project and in doing so, we managed to surpass our first major objective/milestone. Once our donations reached £8,362, Sport NI Olympic Legacy Fund was committed to pledge £30,197 to our funding total. This will appear in the overall total soon.

To achieve this milestone in the first week is quite remarkable. All week the momentum for donating never wavered, and it is very important that this momentum continues, if we are to achieve our long-term goals.

The pace of donations was matched by the variety of donors, again an important ingredient for success. Heartfelt thanks go to the young players, ex-players, senior players and members, local residents and businesses who have donated so far.
