Due to the current weather warnings and the forecasted heavy rainfall over the next 24 hours, CCC is preparing contingency plans in the event that the Box-It Athletic Grounds cannot host both double headers this weekend.

Based on the forecast, the games scheduled for Saturday are currently at the greatest risk. We will make a decision tomorrow morning at 10 AM regarding the Junior Championship fixture between An Port Mór and Middletown. If necessary, we may move this match to Abbey Park at 4:30 PM, while we hope the Intermediate game will proceed at the Box-It Athletic Grounds, albeit at a slightly later time of 7 PM.

As for Sunday’s fixtures, we will continue to monitor the situation closely. However, based on the current forecast, we are optimistic that both games will take place as originally scheduled.
